These Terms of Service govern your use of the trewrld website and your purchase of products from trewrld, Queensway House, Kaunda Street, 2nd Floor Room 13, Nairobi, Kenya. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Products

We sell 100% genuine electronics — smartphones, laptops, tablets, audio equipment, wearables, gaming accessories, and related products. We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate, but errors can occur; if we discover a pricing or listing error on your order, we will contact you before proceeding.

Orders and Payment

We accept payment via M-Pesa, Visa/Mastercard, Lipa Later, Creditum, and bank transfer. An order is confirmed once payment has been received or, for financing options, once approved by the relevant provider. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.

Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship within Kenya and to select East African destinations. Delivery timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Exchanges and Warranty

Our exchange terms are set out in our Refund/Exchange Policy. In summary: exchanges are accepted within 48 hours of purchase for unused, untampered devices in original packaging; cash refunds are not offered. Every device purchased from trewrld includes a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects, with repairs carried out at our Service Centre using genuine parts.

Trade-In Program

Devices submitted for trade-in are assessed in person at our showroom. Valuations are based on the device's condition, model, and current market value, and are subject to confirmation on physical inspection.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to interfere with its operation, or to submit false or fraudulent order information.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and logos — is the property of trewrld or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, trewrld is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products, beyond the remedies set out in our Refund Policy and product warranty.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
